The four areas we cover

New Plymouth city
From the central streets to the older bungalows of Vogeltown and Westown, the city is mostly slow-heating, single-glazed housing.

Westerlies straight off the Tasman carry salt well inland, and the rain that comes with them makes damp the problem rather than cold.

Bell Block and Waitara
Sealed open-plan subdivisions at one end and older river-town housing at the other, ten minutes apart and wanting opposite things.

Inglewood and inland Taranaki
Under the mountain it is colder, a great deal wetter and slower to clear, so the unit is drying the house as much as warming it.

What areas around New Plymouth do you install heat pumps in?
We cover greater New Plymouth and the surrounding Taranaki area. That means the central suburbs, Fitzroy, Spotswood, Westown and Bell Block, plus the coastal edge and inland toward the mountain. If you're nearby but not sure, just ask.
Do you install heat pumps in Waitara, Oakura and Inglewood?
Yes. Waitara, Oakura and Inglewood are all in our regular patch. We know the coastal salt at Oakura and the older weatherboard homes inland, so we come prepared for each.
Do you charge extra for installs outside central New Plymouth?
We don't add a surprise charge for being outside the central suburbs within our normal area. If a job is a long way out and the travel or access changes things, we'll tell you upfront in the quote so there are no surprises.
