How often should a heat pump be serviced?
Once a year is the general rule, and it's best done before winter. On the New Plymouth coast, units near the sea front do better with two visits a year because of the salt build-up. If your filters clog quickly in a damp home, a mid-season clean helps too.

What does a heat pump service include?
